In an attempt to live a more balanced life, I will balance out my complaints with things I'm happy about.
Things I'm really not liking at the moment:
1) Whining children
2) Cold Weather
Things I'm grateful for:
1) It's going to be naptime soon
2) Hot coffee

It's Too Cold
My feet are cold. I've been trying to warm them up all morning but no luck. And it's not even winter yet. *sigh*

LEFT HANDERS DAY!!!
Today, August 13th is the day that lefties celebrate their oddity, uh I mean uniqueness. So in honor of the day, here are some lefty trivia for you to enjoy.
- Sinistrophobia is the fear of left-handedness.
- While many people are left handed, very few are 100% left handed. For example, many Left handers golf and bat right handed. On the other hand, there is a high percentage of righties who are 100% right-handed.
- Lefties are also called "southpaws". The term was coined in baseball to describe a left handed pitcher.
- Tuesdays are Lefties luck day.
- Only about 10% of the population is left handed.
- During the 1600's people, thought left handers were witches and warlocks.
- International Left Hander's Day was first celebrated on August 13, 1976. It was started by Lefthander's International.
- They say everyone was born right handed, and only the greatest overcome it. (he,he,he)
- It is believed that all polar bears are left handed.
- There is a rumor that octopuses have but one right hand. Scientists are diligently studying this issue.

Have you seen...
Tiger Woods' new baby? There are 4 pictures that I saw. The baby is a bit scrawny looking. I'm sure that she'll look a lot cuter when she plumps up in a few weeks. (Not that she's a bad looking baby)
It's Been A Long Long Time
I haven't posted in over a month! It's been so long that I forgot my username and password. I tried over 20 combinations before asking them to send it to me.

Just Bought E Book!
E Book is Entertainment Book.
So it was about $15 with shipping. The great part is that after it gets here I'm supposed to register it and then I get a $25 restaurant gift certificate. So that means that not only is the book free but I get $10!
I wonder if I should get another book.

E-Bay is Nuts
I just got an e-mail from E-Bay congratulating me for making it to "power seller". I've only sold one item. It said that I get that special icon by my name. Not there. Problem is, E-Bay doesn't even have my e-mail address. So who is sending me mail pretending to be E-Bay? Hmmmmm

My Mother's Day
It was good overall. Lots of good food. That in itself makes it good. I'll try to ignore the other stuff. Too bad Teuscher's don't have big a** boxes of dark chocolate truffles. I just had the Chuao one and it's a poor substitute.

So Far This Morning I Have...
...eaten half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Tasted great with my four cups of coffee. You know the Sara Lee wheat bread that we always get? I think they changed the recipe a little bit because it's not as smooth as it used to be. Bummer.
Also this morning I checked my e-mail and The Entertainment Book wrote me to let me know that the book is now only $9.99. Shipping is still $4.99. Should I wait for the price to go even lower? Problem is, what if it sells out? Oh, and it's not cheaper on e-bay.
I was right. El Torito does mean "the little bull". Can't stop thinking about their fajitas. They really should add more veggies though. Perhaps cook them a little before throwing them onto the plate because I loathe onion breath.
BTW. I think the following info may come in handy for you today as you try to make small talk with the doc you're training.
The capital of India is New Delhi but the largest city is Mumbai.
Chess was invented in India.
Your wife likes naan (Indian bread).

My First Blog Posting Ever
First of all let me say that I absolutely hated all the template choices that I had to choose from. I spent way too long trying to pick one because I couldn't decide which one I hated the least.
Secondly, this blog is written for Don. He's the one who wants me to have one. So here it is. My posts will all be intended for him to read. Of course I know that others, aka not Don, may stumble on this blog so I will not include anything that anyone but Don should read.
